SEND CLASS TEACHERS WANTED
Due to expansion, we require experienced special needs class teachers in our outstanding special school.
We are looking for teachers that:
- Have SEND classroom experience
- Are dedicated to the welfare, safeguarding and progress of every child
- Are committed to providing outstanding learning experiences to develop communication and independence skills
- Are able to remain calm and supportive under pressure
- Can lead a team of T.A’s to successfully support pupil needs
- Are passionate, creative and have excellent communication skills

Classroom based teaching assistants required
33.5 hours per week
40 weeks per year (term time only)
We require teaching assistants in our outstanding primary special school (OFSTED 2018) to work with our special needs pupils in a stimulating and supportive environment. We are looking to appoint caring, resilient and outgoing teaching assistants to join our fun and lively team.
You will be working with amazing children to help them develop their communication and independence skills.
Northway is split across 2 sites – one in Mill Hill and one in High Barnet – we are looking for teaching assistants at both sites. Please indicate on your application form which site you are applying for – this will be discussed further at interview if you are shortlisted.
Experience in education and/or children with special needs is essential.
You will have supportive colleagues, a hands-on governing body and the opportunity for fantastic training.
