General School Information

ATTENDANCE

If you child is not in school for any reason please follow the guidance below.

What to do:

If your child is sick, please contact the school directly before 8.45am each day to report the absence and give a reason.
You must also contact transport as soon as possible.
If your child is absent due to an appointment, school should be notified in advance. Please send any medical appointment letters or cards in with your child -we will take a copy and return the original back to you.

Holidays in term time
Please do not book holidays in term time as children already have 13 weeks holiday from school each year. If there are exceptional circumstances and you need to book a holiday or leave the country in term time, please contact the school office to discuss.

School Times

8:45 am	School Day Begins - Pupils dropped off by parents/carers or arriving on school bus
9:00 am	Whole school or class assemblies
9:30 am	Registration - Lessons begin
10:30am - 10.45am	KS1 Break
10.50am -11.05am	KS2 Break
11.45am - 12.45pm	EY and KS1 Lunchtime
12:30pm - 1.30pm	KS2 Lunchtime
3:00 pm	School Day Ends - Pupils collected by parents/carers or taken home on school bus

School Uniform

Girls

White polo shirt, red jumper or red cardigan, black pants or red & white dress, black shoes

Boys

White polo shirt, red jumper, black pants, black shoes

PE kit

Red t-shirt, black shorts (summer), black track pants (winter), black trainers or plimsoles

School Lunch

Northway is a healthy eating school.

Pupils who bring packed lunch are reminded to bring NO NUTS, no glass and no cans.
