BACE Holidays (Summer)

What is BACE Holidays?

BACE Holidays stands for Barnet. Active. Creative. Engaging. Holidays! A project delivered in partnership by Barnet Council and Young Barnet Foundation and funded by the Department for Education to offer children and young people who currently receive free school meals to access enriching activities and a healthy lunch over the holiday periods.

School holidays can be pressure points for some families due to increased costs and reduced incomes. BACE Holidays is an inclusive programme for children and young people in Barnet to experience engaging and healthy activities with an emphasis on physical, emotional, and nutritional wellbeing during the school holidays.

Children and young people will be given the opportunity take part in an activity face to face at one of our Summer BACE Camps and receive a nutritionally balanced lunch. Activities may include; football, cricket, arts and crafts, performing arts and lots more.

*All delivery will adhere to current COVID government guidance.
